Inspired by the drawers of the sacristy of the Duomo di Milano.

Known as "aquilonare", from the late Latin word aquilonaris meaning northern, it is the ancient sacristy of Milan Cathedral, the first section of the cathedral built from 1386 onwards, in the heart of a densely built urban center. It was the first place constructed after the laying of the cathedral’s foundation stone.

Beyond its precious marble, sculptures, and frescoes, the sacristy is rich in furniture and drawers and is still used today by priests as they prepare their vestments before sacred ceremonies.
