Monocle Scent 5: Syros is inspired by the arid and bright landscapes of the Mediterranean basin. Between scorching sun, wild vegetation and white-hot stones, this perfume evokes the feeling of a suspended summer on a Greek island, where the salty wind and dry herbs create an atmosphere that is both raw and relaxing. The opening reveals a dry liquorice, with woody and slightly anised accents. Then the composition gains prominence: smoky cypriol, sun-warmed immortelle, Indonesian patchouli and vetiver create an earthy and aromatic trail. In the base, a sweet and diffused white musk evokes the freshness of an afternoon shade.
